Double Crochet is an independent publication for people who crochet, from first chain to finished blanket.

How our patterns are written
Patterns use US crochet terms unless the pattern says otherwise. Each pattern lists its skill level, yarn weight, hook size and finished size, so you can tell at a glance whether it suits you.
Who makes Double Crochet
Our guides, patterns and stitch pages are written by Alice Jackie (writer and editor) and Carol Ava (writer). Every crochet calculator on the site is built by Monhar Wesvak, our developer. Double Crochet is run by DoubleCrochet io, based in Wittlich, Germany.
How we work
Our editorial policy explains how we check instructions, label calculator results that are estimates, and keep advertising separate from what we recommend. Found a mistake, or want to get in touch? Use our contact page.
